  1. Hello,I come from Mogo on the NSW South coast, and we have a long history of sightings of dooligan, the local name for yowie in dhurga, our local language.they are from another dimension, you can leave out small tools or cigarettes, as offerings,as food can be taken by animals. I have tried over 28yrs to make friends,we live on the edge of forest, but something comes over me,and I too run inside and lock the doors. You will find that dogs will also head for the hills if they are around, dogs will never bark at dooligan.i know firsthand from an elder her experience of seeing 3 females dancing together as a child. We also have gulaga mtn, which has ancient huge, monolithic stones, fitted together without a space between. There is also a creation stone,a big round slab, with a smaller stone on top, with standing stones around it.photos are on the brochure on the website for the national Park there. Gulaga mtn is mother mountain,to our indigenous people here, and the Dalai Llama visited her also. It is incredible, please check it out,and is another link to our forgotten origins in Australia.

  2. Thank you for sharing your amazing story. I am quite open to all of it. We live in a rural area surrounded by beautiful mountains and believe we have experienced the presence of Yowies from time to time. I also have three carved rock troughs, similar to the one pictured which are very old. I can send photos if you are interested. I have also seen similar cavities cut into rock formations in the bush.
